Dear Sir/madam,

I am the resident of ..................... . My house is in ........... and for the past few months, the condition of water supply has become very bad.

I want to bring your attention to the problems people are facing due to the improper supply of water. The coming in our taps is very dirty because the pipeline has not been cleaned for many months and many people have fallen ill after drinking its water.

We have reported this matter to the authority concerned, but no attention has been paid to solve this problem. I hope this letter will make the authority aware of the problem and do the needful.

Subject: Complain against polluted, inadequate and irregular supply of water in Mother Teresa Road locality.

Respected Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed daily newspaper, I woul like to highlight the problem of water scarcity and polluted water supply in Mother Teresa Road locality.

For the last three weeks Mother Teresa Road locality bis receiving very low quantity and irregular supply of water which is not enough for daily basic needs like cooking and drinking. The few wells available in the area has dred up as they are not enough to meet the demand of so many people. The residents here are being compelled to buy water at exorbitant rates.

Further the water supplied is polluted and dirty. It is shocking that untreated water is supplied without thinking of the consequences of diseases like cholera, Diarrhoea and Typhoid.

Therefore, I earnestly request the concerned department and the authorities to look into the matter urgently and immediately restore regular and unterrupted daily supply of clean water since the people of this locality are facing much inconvenience and untold hardship.
