People of my village start gathering at the house 5 days prior to the wedding and they sing traditional wedding songs and dance. One day prior to the wedding, Haldi rasam is celebrated in which the groom and bride are applied some Haldi (Turmeric) so that they get some glow on their face. During the evening Mehndi ceremony happens along with Sangeet function.
