Dear Amit:

I hope this letter finds you in good health and upbeat spirits. I also hope uncle must have recovered by now. Well, i am going to share with you a few of the memories about the picnic that you could not join because of uncle’s sudden illness. The picnic to Manali was just awesome. The company of friends combined with the unrestricted sense of freedom that we felt in one another’s company made this picnic memorable for lifetime. The only thing about the picnic that we did not like was your absence.

We ate the food of our choice at Punjabi restaurants; we went to all the places of beauty in our own car. We have clicked thousands of pictures which I will send you soon. We spent considerable time on the banks of Beas. The current of water is exceedingly swift and pure here. We went to Rohtang pass also had a ride on the snow bikes.  We slept quite late every night we were there. We did a lot of shopping also. I have bought a few things for you that I will give you on our next meeting. The rest is fine. Give regards to uncle and aunt.

Yours affectionately,

Sushant
