Sub: Regarding delay in the arrival of police and negligence of act
Due to heavy rains in our district the school bus which was full of children got struck while crossing the river bridge and they were scared. As soon as people saw they ran for help and informed to the police and the ambulance and the fire service departments. The bus driver left the bus and ran out without rescuing the children and it was only the people who rescued the children and then the fire service officers and the ambulance reached for help and rescued some of the children. Even after such a huge incident the police failed to arrive at the spot and they reached after all rescuing operations were over. So I put this forward to your notice that the function of police is to be at the place of incident at the required time and take the necessary actions and safeguard the people. This action is strongly condemned and I kindly request you sir to take the necessary actions on the police officers due to their act of negligence
