India is one of the countries with high population densities. Every day, new initiatives are taken to improve the lives of the underpriveleged. Even after doing this, a large fraction of India's population, especially, the underpriveleged, remains unfulfilled. The workingmen cannot advance and they're caught in the vicious cycle of poverty, generation after generation. This forces their heirs to start working at a very young age. Since they do not have an academic qualification due to lack of education, they are forced to do vocational works such as labour.
Usually, it is the entire family that works as labourers, usually at one construction site. Even after carrying such heavy loads on their heads in scorching sun or pouring rains, they usaually are not able to afford two square meals a day.
Moreover, as the kids of these labourer's families reside in slum areas, they grow in an environment where kids start working as labourers from a very young age. These slum children usually have no childhood as they engage into earning for the famiy at a very young age and they literally grow carrying loads and helping parents at labour.
