A letter to Bapu regarding cleanliness ...

Dear Bapu ...

Dear Bapu, we know how much you were a strong supporter of cleanliness. You left all of us and left. But you went with the message of cleanliness on the go. But we Indians did not follow your lessons and started spreading dirt everywhere. We have badly polluted our country.

Bapu, today we feel ashamed of ourselves that we could not follow your message and teachings. But we pledge that we will definitely follow the path given by you and leave our country clean and tidy.

Bapu. This year is your 150th birth anniversary and on this 150th birth anniversary, we pay tribute to you as a pledge. We pledge to make our country clean. We will fully follow the rules of cleanliness. We will not make any mess anywhere and just like there is cleanliness in foreign countries, especially in the western countries, in the same way, we will make our country clean, so that when these foreigners come, they will praise our country.

Bapu, we know that dirt is the root cause of diseases and because of this filth, the people of our country are falling ill, thus our country is falling sick and the sick country is unable to follow the path of development at a rapid pace. We have come to know the importance of how cleanliness is necessary for this. We promise you that we will leave our India clean.

Our current Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also leading a campaign to clean India, and he has also taken inspiration from you, and has made you a symbol and messenger of cleanliness. All we have to do is fulfill your and their dreams.

There can be no better tribute to you on your 150th birth anniversary. We believe that wherever you are, seeing your clean India, you will definitely be happy.

Accept our salutations,

Your children of india
