Respected Bapu

Pranam Bapu, I am a student of India. My name is Rahul. I fall in the tenth grade. I consider you an ideal person in my life. I have taught a lot from your life. I have been impressed by your ideals.

I also like cleanliness. I believe that there will be more cleanliness around us.

Our environment will be good, we will never get sick. Our country will progress that much.

We Indians could not fully follow your ideals. When I see filth all around in my country, I feel sad, and I regret that we have completely forgotten the message you had given to stay clean.

We have badly polluted our country. Look everywhere, there is dirt. I try my best to keep my surroundings clean. I also explain to people every day that we should always take special care of cleanliness. There will be a clean body, a clean environment, then a clean mind. This was your message too.

Together with all of you, I will make my India absolutely clean and clean and will leave the dirt behind. I will make people aware of cleanliness every day and give my full support in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

There is no better tribute to you on your 150th birth anniversary.

Rahul

A letter to Bapu conveying the Child's Contribution to Swachhata

P1, Apollo Avenue,

Bidhannagar,

Delhi.

Dear Bapuji,

I want to bring a change in this country’s cleanliness and hygiene which is deteriorating day by day. The people are just dirtying the roads and the streets and do not care about the diseases that these untreated wastes spread.

I am that’s why supporting the Swacchta Abhiyan and fighting these problems. I am creating awareness among people so that they do not throw things and garbage here and there. I am crusading for the green India and organising campaigns to plant more trees. I myself go on clean drives and broom the roads with my fellow mates. In future I plan to hold more campaigns and organise more clean drives where we will dump the garbage only in waste bins and see to it that others do the same.

These are my steps towards a cleaner and a better India.

                                                                                      Yours faithfully,

                                                                                        Babin.
