Subject: Corruption in government departments
Sir:
I am writing to your highness to bring to your kind notice the rampant corruption in all Government departments. The citizens of the city of have to pay bribes to get their work done. India was placed at 76th position out of 168 countries with a score of 38 out of a possible 100 in Transparency International's Corruption Perceptions Index 2018.
Recently I applied for a new electricity connection. At the time of installation of the new meter, the visiting officer demanded extra money. Though I had paid all the required charges in advance. Why is it so? The condition of the other departments is exactly the same. I appeal to you to look into the matter and take strict action against the corrupt officials, officers, and Government employees. I shall be grateful.
Thanking you.
Yours truly,
Upen Sharma

Honorable Chief Minister

Secretariat, Guwahati

Respected Chief Minister Sir,
I am writing this in order to express my concern over the awareness of corruption and violence that is taking place in my city as well as in the entire state. As it is well known that corruption in our country has been prevailing since time immemorial and to cure this disease is nearly impossible. In own my own city also; corruption is prevailing at a highest level. It is found in every nook and corner of government offices, political bodies, etc. I do not intend to disrespect either the government or to the ministers. I am just trying to convey my awareness regarding the harmful effects of corruption, which our youth is going to face if the issue is not tackled at an early stage.
I hope you will look into this matter and consider these issues in your plans and policies.
Thanking You
Yours Sincerely
