Sensitising the public to the threat of the pandemic

Respected sir

Given the situation created by the pandemic and people's non serious attitude towards it, I would request the Disaster Management Team to please take concrete steps to sensitise people about the same.

Despite a nationwide lockdown in place and strict police action against the violators, there are many pockets, especially in the periphery of cities, where people are openly violating the safety instructions. They are not maintaining social distancing or even staying indoors.

Simply giving out instructions will not help. Local volunteers should be enlisted to reach out to the locals and make them understand the gravity of the situation. I urge you to kindly take concrete steps to spread awareness before matters worsen.
