Respected editor,
This letter is written to indicate about the harmful effects of junk food. It reduces the life span of a human eventually and thus it must be avoided to a great extent.
We all children love to eat Junk food. Junk food is cheap, tasty and easily available, thus it is very popular. The word 'junk' it self indicates the type of food they are. Junk food is like garbage to our body, which we are consuming by our own.
Junk food has less nutritional value. It must not replace daily meals. Daily meals are prepared in such a way that they have all the nutrients required for our body. Junk food have only fats and cholesterol in them which can turn harmful when taken on daily basis.
Junk foods when consumed, it does not give us energy levels and thus, more food is required to keep the energy balanced. This leads to increase in weight. Junk food can also cause diabetes in the early ages and sleep disorders. Junk food acts as a bane to the society.
Pizzas, burgers and French fries! They might be tempting but can lead to heart disorders, spike in blood sugar, less activeness, dull reflexes, strokes, and clogging of arteries. However, such deadly diseases are not caused by consumption of these foods once in couple of weeks.
Thus, I conclude that Junk food is trash in our body and should not be consumed most of the time. They must be taken in limited accounts to prevent deadly diseases that can carve way to death!

Sub.: Health Hazards Caused by Junk Food.
Sir,
Through the lines of your esteemed paper, I want to pinpoint about the damages caused by fast food. We know that our life has become so complex that we hardly get any time even to enjoy our food well. We always remain in worry and hurry and most often we purchase fast food from the market and eat it in the way. On one side we think that it is cheap, tasty and saves our time but on the other, we fail to realize its damaging effects. None of the shopkeepers uses hygienic items in the preparation of such items. They are below standard and are prepared haphazardly without due attention towards vitamins and food value. They only provide the taste for the tongue. Most often we enjoy it but its effect on our body is very disastrous. It causes depression. Tension, blood clotting, heart attack, allergy, rashes on the body, vomiting, loose motion and nauseating etc. They disturb our circulatory system as well as digestion. So many diseases surround us and we have to knock the doors of the doctors thereby wasting wealth, health and time. If we want to lead a healthy life, we should avoid such cheap items for the taste of the tongue. I hope people will realize the results of cheap food as I have become a victim of heart disease through the use of fast food.
Yours faithfully,
Santra Barbara
