The Editor,

The Hindustan Times,

U.P.

Subject: Frequent load shedding in Ghaziabad.

Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed national newspaper, I would like to express my concern on the crisis of frequent load shedding in Ghaziabad.

In spite of lodging several complaints with the power department, nothing has been done and Ghaziabad continue to face frequent load shedding for the last three weeks. Due to this the people are facing much hardship. The unprofessional and callous attitude of the power department is clearly seen since it has not bothered to give any reason for the cause of the load shedding.

Both parents and their children are upset with the frequent power cut as the annual final exams has already commenced.

It must also be noted that it is the common people, the low income and poor groups of people who suffer the most during load shedding because they cannot afford to buy solar panels or generators.

I therefore request the power department and the authorities to look into the matter immediately and restore uninterrupted supply of power to this locality at the earliest.

Yours sincerely,

Neelima
