Subject- Letter to increase awareness about social discrimination.

Dear Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw the attention of the concerned authority towards increasing awareness about social discrimination.

Social discrimination is one of the ills of the society which should not be practiced. All the citizens living in the country should not be discriminated on the grounds of color, gender, religion or caste. This has been mentioned in Article 15 of the Constitution. Hence every person should be aware of the rights they have the right to practice their rights. I hope that through your newspaper my suggestion would be considered and looked upon at the earliest.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Yours truly

Subject: Social evils of caste discrimination

Sir:

I am writing this letter to express my deep concern over the problem of caste discrimination still going on in the backward parts of our country. It is such a shame that even after 70 years of independence, the evil of caste-discrimination has been persisting.

This caste discrimination is not only illegal and against the principal of equality, but also acts as negative force for the maintenance of national integration. Caste discrimination is not good for our country’s progress and development.

I appeal to you to publish articles in your esteemed daily denouncing practice of caste-discrimination; I also appeal to the Government to take strict action against those who practice caste discrimination.

Yours truly,

Amit Sinah
