Respected Sir / Madam,

Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I would like to venture my views on the scarcity of water in our locality.

Water is the basic need of a person. It has been two weeks since there is no water in our municipality tap. Some peoples are buying water. The poor peoples who aren't able to buy water, they are having a very rough time with scarcity of water. The poor kids are suffering from several diseases due to lack of fresh water. People are not able to cook food, bath and even drink water.

We had also tried to contact the municipality corporation, but no reply came. Hence, I request you to write an article on this topic in the local newspaper. We would be highly grateful and obliged to you.
