Sub: Vulgarity in new Punjabi Songs.
Respected Sir,
Through the esteemed column of your newspaper, I Vaishali Sharma would like to draw the attention of the authorities and the general public towards our Punjabi songs that are being released nowadays.
Punjabi is a very beautiful language. The fact is, new Punjabi songs released these days are not so fit to heard by everyone. We realize that not all songs are fit enough to listen to and sing in public. Beats and synchronization can hide the vulgarity you have put on the song but not the meaning. Our youth, are more interested in listening to such energetic songs nowadays. When they hear a hero singing a song with all possible kinds of vulgarity, they think that it might be good and should be used in public. Do we keep on asking everyone from where young minds are learning vulgarity instead of being innovative? The answer lies in our media.
I just want to say that vulgarity is not a thing to decorate your hard work imposed songs. A song should be something that can be enjoyed by everyone with everyone. The public would appreciate it more when such things come to real existence. I want you to put this letter in your newspaper so that my voice reaches the preponderance of people. Thank You for your time.
Thank you
Yours sincerely
Vaishali Sharma
