Through a reliable column of your prestigious newspaper I would draw the kind attention of the concerned authorities and the indulged traders and manufacturers towards the critical situation of the city due to excessive pollution.

My humble submission is that inhabitants are in danger due to increasing pollution in the city. The numbers of vehicles are increasing year after year. They emit a lot of smoke.The developing industrial area is one of the most factors of pollution. A large quantity of chemicals is thrown in drains. The heavy sound of machines and blowing horn worsen the situation. Effective steps can be taken to make the city free from pollution.

Therefore you are requested to publish a column, rebuking the powerful officials and manufacturers and reminding them their duties.
