respected editor ,
I’m writing to express my concern of importance of the education in today's life.
Education is the foundation on which our lives are built. Without education and learning, formal or informal, you cannot improve your life. While you might be better off if someone leaves you a lot of money, for most of us an education is the first step to success.
A strong public education system is the foundation of our strength in Oklahoma and America, yet we allow underfunded schools and underpaid educators to be the carpenters that build tomorrow’s informed citizens without giving them the best building materials. Oklahoma has many things going for it but without a strong public school system, a prosperous future might not be one of them.
Well-funded schools are the base on which our society is built, providing strong instruction in science, technology and mathematics, along with a world view built on strong communication and language skills. History classes provide context to what is happening around us, and geography helps us understand the world and our impact and place in it. Public schools offer opportunities to feed the soul and passion of our children with a commitment to provide music, theater and debate, as well as auto shop, wood shop and technical engineering.
We have an opportunity this November to rebuild our foundation. Ask the candidates running in your district how they will support public education; find the ones who will and then do the American thing — go vote. Your children and grandchildren will thank you, as will your retirement with a robust economy.
yours sincerely,

Explanation:
Through the column of your esteemed daily, I would like to draw the kind attention of the concerned authorities and common masses towards the importance of education. Be it for us as a person, or for the society, or the country as a whole, education not only prunes a person as an individual but also shapes a country in the larger sense. Education is the strength of a country and forms the base for its development. A country which can provide 100% literacy to its citizens stands ahead of those which cannot do so.
