Dear Sir

Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper I, Rishabh Bansal, a resident of Shahibaugh, wish to draw the attention of the concerned authorities towards the increasing water pollution not only in New Delhi but also Globally.

Knowing that only 1% of Earth's total water reserves constitute of fresh water, Industries never miss a chance to expel their untreated waste into freshwater bodies and rivers. This water pollution has given birth to mosquito breeding leading to life threatening diseases like malaria and dengue in the community.

Moreover when this polluted water reaches the poor for either household purpose or consumption leads to widespread infection.

It is high time , I believe that the government authorities can surely work together with public to eradicate water pollution.

I hope you would publish my letter in your newspaper and the concerned authorities would take quick and needy steps to eradicate water pollution and safeguards the whole community.
