Subject : Complaint letter about the problems of traffic jam in our city.

Respected Sir,

Through the columns of your reputed newspaper, I would like to make everyone aware about the traffic jam in our city .  Due to this huge population and the increased number of public and private cars, the city often faces bad traffics.

The number of people living in this city, the cars they are using and the public transportation they need is higher than the number of roads. As a result, the traffic jam often occurs and people have to suffer. Another reason for the traffic jam is the unauthorised parking of cars in the street. People do not often follow the exact traffic rules and because of their sincerity, we often face the horrible traffics in the street.

The traffic jam in our city is one of the terrible things the city dwellers have to face. People get stuck on the roads and they have no idea when they would be able to reach their destination. Because of this jam, people often miss important schedules, students can’t reach school in time and the outcome is devastating. Because of the jam in the street people have to schedule accordingly and the total time killed in the street is simply a waste of time.

There are many steps which should be taken to reduce the jam in the street. First of all the people who are driving in the street should very strictly follow the traffic rules. The traffic control authority should more strictly apply the rules. The number of private automobiles is increasing rapidly. Many single families own multiple cars and thus increase the number of total cars driving in the street. The rule should be imposed on purchasing cars and the price of the fuel could be increased as well. The public transportation system should be improved so that people can travel on public cars. The city has more population than it can comprise and decentralisation of industries, offices and educational institutes can be another solution to this abhorrent problem.

Hope you publish my article in your upcoming newspaper.

Thanking you sir,

Yours honestly,

SUBJECT-about the evil and danger traffic signals

Respected sir,

Please allow me to highlight the dangers of reckless driving on city streets. I would be grateful if you could publish my thoughts in your esteemed newspaper's column

Driving recklessly has become the norm. Every day, numerous accidents occur on city streets. Drivers toy with the lives of children and the elderly. Young boys enjoy the rush of speed. They do not follow traffic laws. They take pride in passing other vehicles and going against the light at intersections. All of this leads to fatal accidents. Law-abiding citizens are at risk in this situation.

Another risk is a traffic jam. Heavy vehicles are frequently seen parked in "no entry" zones. This causes traffic congestion. Tangas and three-wheelers exacerbate the situation in this area. The on-duty cop remains a silent observer. Drunken truck drivers endanger the lives of innocent people. It is unfortunate that such people escape and are not apprehended. Even if they are apprehended on the spot, they are only given a minor punishment. They also bribe the cops and get away with it.

Traffic laws must be followed. Drivers under the age of 18 and those driving without a licence should face penalties. Drivers caught driving while inebriated should face harsh penalties.Tangas, richkshaws, and handcarts should be kept off the roads. Speed bumps, roundabouts, and traffic lights should be installed as needed.

Through these columns, I request that the authorities enforce traffic laws and educate the public about traffic safety.

thank you
