As the years have gone by, technology has made some big advances and improvements, which is causing the human race to become more and more dependent on technology.
When I was younger, I went and saw the 2008 movie “WALL-E” in theaters for the first time. The main concept was that all of humanity had become so dependent on technology that they didn’t do anything themselves. In fact, they were all in floating obesity scooters because they were also eating way too unhealthily.
As I look back on this, I have realized that we as the human race are starting to go down that path. We already have cars that can drive themselves, and we can order food from apps on our phones, and there is also no social interaction, because a lot of people rely on texting as their only source of communication.
As we continue down this slippery slope, the movie “WALL-E” is becoming very familiar to life in the not-too-distant future. We should try to not rely on our devices to do everything for us and start doing things for ourselves, by ourselves more often.thanking you
