Dear Editor,
As an ardent reader of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to bring out my concern on the declining sex ration in the country.
Gender inequality has always been the top concern in our country. The recent reports declare that India ranks 112th position in the world in the terms of gender gap. It is deeply sadenning to see India go down.
Women have been treated badly by domestic violence and many acts. This is because of the rotting idea of "women being the household puppet" being deeply planted in the hearts of the people.
Women should be treated with the same and utmost respect as that of a man. Women are the backbones of a prosperous society. Looking down on women can only decrease the standard of the society.
Hoping it would reach out the burning hearts.
