Last year,my father bought me a bicycle when I went to Ho Chi Minh city for the first time. Therefore,I had transportation to school by it and no longer would need to walk.My bicycle is brand-new and its trade mark is Parker. The frame is painted a vivid red color with some white lines on it.The wheels and spokes are nicked-plated and shine brightly. The pedal, the steering handle and the two mudguards are made of aluminium and are polished. They look like mirrors.I can see myself in the metal when I am close to them.My father had a set of lights mounted on the bicycle so thar I can see them at night. The bicycle with its shiny-nicked plated parts, red and blue wires and brilliant paint looks really elegant.I feel very proud to be its owner. The first time I rode it to school,my friends crowded around me to take a look. They all praised it and said that they thought it was very beautiful. One friend mounted the springy rubber saddle to try it out.Another lifted the bicycle, turned the pedals and tried the applying the brakes to see if they were good. Some others were curious and looked at the trade-marks of the different parts and tried to spell and pronounce the trade names which are all marked in either French and English.I let some of my friends ride it around the school yard. They seemed to be very pleased with the way it handledThe bicycle has become my close friend.Since I had the new bicycle,I have enjoyed cycling to school. No longer do I have to spend so much time walking. Moreover,I arrive at school less tired and my study seems to be progressing. Therefore,I feel obligated to give it good care.Every evening I bring it out in the yard, turn it upside down and wipe it carefully. The bicycle is a handy and docile servant of mine.Anytime I use it,I feel grateful to my father who made a big sacrifice to buy this bicycle for me.
