Dear Shivam,

I am extremely shocked to know that you have not succeeded in your board examination. I cannot believe it, but it is the truth. You did not deserve it. I know you worked hard and did not do anything which would result into failure. It is only your bad luck which has played its part.

Now, what cannot be cured must be endured. Failures do come in one’s way. One should not be discouraged, but gather all courage to fight once again. All great people have failed in their efforts many a time but with renewed efforts and renewed will they succeeded the other time and made far better performances.

It is very well said that "Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new".

I hope, you will now be able to get through with far better marks than you expected this time. So it is not an occasion to despair but to see through all the weak points in you and prepare for your next attempt with a better force and surprise all around you with a brilliant success.

Kindly see that your parents do not get discouraged and assure them about your next hopes. They will also encourage you.

Yours affectionately,

Shivu
