Dear xxx,
Hope you are fine. I write this letter with great grief upon my huge mistake of being rude with you yesterday as i ignored you in the market and walked past you even when you came forward to meet me. Actually my mother had been ill and was suffering from another of her fits and i had to buy her medicines and couldn't greet you. Please forgive me for my mistake. I hope you will understand my problem and forgive me.
