Dear Mother, 

I hope everyone is doing fine. I am writing to request you that I want to buy a computer, I will highly appreciate if you talk to father about this. My studies here are getting tougher and I need a new computer in order to make notes and also to help me save my documents.

You know computers are very useful for the study I am doing. I will be waiting for your reply and please reply as soon as you can because I cannot delay it any further, as my exams are coming up.

Please pay my regards to everyone.

Dear Mom,

How are you doing? I am doing well here. I am keeping very busy nowadays with my assignments and projects. I have to keep running to the library after my classes and take photocopies of the books that I will be needing to write my assignments.

All my friends here have bought a laptop for themselves. Even I am planning on buying one for myself. It will be easier for me to do my assignments. It will also save time as I will not have to go to the library and get photocopies. I am planning on buying a basic student model under an EMI.

Please let me know your thoughts about it. I hope you will understand my genuine request.
