Sir/Mam

This is to inform you that I am a citizen of your city and would like to draw the kind attention of the authorities towards the danger of open manhole in our locality.

Due to unmetalled roads here, in the rainy season the condition become worse and water collects here, leading to

falling of people inside it.

Also, contaminated water in manholes stinks very badly.

Hope you will look into the matter and resolve our problem.
