Dear Sir,

Through the columns of our Reputed Esteem, I want to highlight the problem of bad water supply in our area in the last few days.

This problem became a curse for us. We are not able to do any thing without water. The water which is coming, is very bad and dirty. Even, there is not water for drinking. We have to order water for the drinking purpose. If this problem will not solve, then it will difficult for us to live here. We have complaint to local authorities but no response came. We are waiting for a good response.

Please post an article on this topic on your newspaper so that this problem will solve and everyone gets water for their living.

Sub: Supply problem of water in our area.

Water is the essence of life.The supply of water in our locality is for a short span of time and the flow of water is also quite slow. This makes storage of water insufficient for the use of the whole family. There are times when there is no supply of water for more than two days. The quality of water supplied is also poor which makes it unfit for drinking and other purposes. This has also lead to health problems such as diarrhea , dysentery and cholera.

I would like to draw the kind attention of the concerned authorities through the column of your esteemed newspaper towards the problem of bad condition of water supply in Dayal Bagh colony. Most of the time the taps remain dry. The supply is made only two hours in the morning and one hour in th evening. Besides the water is muddy and polluted. Many residents fall sick. There are complaints of jaundice and loose motions after drinking this water.In this connection we have complained to the local authorities but in vain. I, therefore, request the higher authorities to look into this matter and take necessary action immediately.
