A Letter to Parents Celebrate Durga Puja

Dear Mother and Father,
You must be wondering why I haven’t come home for the puja vacation. As this is my last year in school I decided to stay back in Kolkata with my friends to witness the Durga Puja Celebrations in Kolkata.
Kolkata is world famous for Durga Puja. Here Durga Puja is celebrated with pomp and splendour. You should have seen the Puja pandals, each were real works of architecture and the idols of Goddess Durga were so exquisite. Each was a blend of Art and Aesthetics. The entire city was dazzling with light and festivity and the food, it was just awesome!
I really missed you all. You must celebrate Durga Puja in Kolkata. Tilottama is her actual best as the ‘City of Joy’ during this time. I have had the most wonderful Durga Puja in my life. Take care. I will write again.
