Respected Principal,
I am writing this letter to inform you that the fan of class 9 - A is not working. When we switch on, it starts making a squeaky noise and eventually, it stops working. The whole class is facing a huge problem due to the extreme heat.
Thus, I request you to place a new fan instead of the old one. The fan must be working so that students of grade 9 can concentrate on their studies. We would be glad if a new fan is installed in our classroom.
