Sir
I wish to invite a kind attention of the appropriate authorities towards the insanitary conditions of Mayur Vihar, Jamnagar.
The locality has become an unclean and unhygienic that one cannot walk in any street without covering the nose. The drains are full of garbage. Dirty and stinking water overflows them and spills over the streets. Secondly,there are garbage mounds here and there. Residents throw up their kitchen's leftover here and there. Stray animals and pigs scatter the heaps of garbage in search of something eatable. Mosquitoes and other harmful insects and bacteria prosper on these mounds. Children and residents defecate in the open.
Thus,the locality has become the health hazard for all the residents. If immediate steps are not taken ,there may spread infectious diseases like cholera, dysentery,jaundice etc.
I,therefore,request the appropriate authorities to take necessary immediate action for cleanliness drive of this locality.
