On the subject mentioned above, I would like to bring to your attention the crisis of frequent load shedding in Mother Teresa Road area.
In spite of lodging several complaints with the power department, nothing has been done till date and the locality continues to face frequent load shedding. Due to this the people are facing much hardship.
Both parents and their school going children are unhappy with the frequent power cut as it disrupts their daily study hours.
Long and frequent power cut at night lead to an increase in crime rate. It must also be noted that it is the common and poor people who suffer the most during load shedding because they cannot afford to buy generators.
I therefore earnestly request you and the power department to take remedial action and restore uninterrupted supply of power to this locality at the earliest.
