Respected Sir,
Most humbly, I would like to highlight the crisis of water scarcity in the village of Marathmada. Due to the irregular supply of water the residents of this village are facing untold hardships. We have run from pillar to post requesting the authorities to provide regular water supply but to no avail. Over the last decade we have heard so many promises from bureaucrats and politicians about solving the problem of water shortage of our village. But till date no action has been taken to elevate our potable water crisis and irrigation for our cultivation. We have great trouble even to meet our daily basic water requirement like drinking and cooking. Due to the shortage of water we cannot provide irrigation to our agricultural land. Being totally dependent on rain, there is crop failure most of the time. We incur huge losses as our labour of cultivation is often ruined by droughts and low rainfall.
Therefore, I earnestly request you to personally look into the matter with utmost urgency and take it up with the concerned departments and the higher authorities for provision of regular supply of water to the village. The residents of Marathmada, Maharashtra look forward to an early action.
