Answer:

You had bought the book 'Advanced English Grammar' from a neighborhood book store. After borrowing through the book you realized that pages were missing. Writing a complaint letter in about 100 words to the Manager of the book store requesting him for a replacement or refund.

To

The Manager,

Alipapa Book Store,

Shop 106,

Nalanda Shopping Centre,

Mumbai - 400062

Subject: Missing of pages of 'Advanced English Grammer'

Ref: Cash Memo no. 5642 dated 06/12/2020

Sir,

With above mention reference I wish to bring the 'vide - Supra' subject into your kind consideration on last 06th December I bought a copy of 'Advanced English Grammar' for class XI by S. Arora, the issue of its latest edition. I did not notice any fault at the time of purchase. But on returning home I started browsing through its pages. I passed on page no. 72 for what was expected to be a number of next pages it showed 89. I roughly search t the end of the book but alas! I did not found those 7 pages. I at once realized what sort of mistake has been caused due to the binding of proforma. I, therefore, request you to instruct your employees of the shop to have the book returned and issue another copy of the same edition against the cash memo produced.

Thanking you.

Yours faithfully,

Pooja
