Subject: One wish for my state

Sir:

I am writing to your Excellency to express my one earnest wish for my state. I wish my Punjab to become totally corruption free. Corruption is rampant in all Government administered departments. Even the state vigilance bureau that has the responsibility to monitor corruption is corrupt.

This corruption is not letting our state to develop further at fast pace. The government employees are given very high salaries, yet they are greedy for bribes. I feel it is the responsibility of your Government to ensure corruption free functioning of the Government departments. I am hopeful you will look intot he matter and take corrective measures. Thanking you.
