Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to draw your attention to the unhygienic conditions prevailing in our colony. I live in respective colony which comes under the administration of ______ Municipal Corporation. Our colony is a highly populated and as such it is extremely important to ensure good sanitation.
Unfortunately, these days, the garbage collection trucks do not come regularly. Earlier they used to collect garbage everybody and hence our streets used to be clean. These days they come only twice a week. This has, actually, been a problem for the last 3 weeks. As a result, the garbage bins are overflowing. The stench coming from them is unbearable and we are forced to keep our windows shut all the time. Mosquitoes and fleas are another problem. The garbage piles are their breeding ground. I am sure if this issue is not resolved immediately, we will soon have epidemic outbreaks in our locality.
I am confident that as the Commissioner of our Municipal Corporation it is well within your power to find a solution to this problem at the earliest.
