Answer:

Examination Hall,

ABC City.

August 17,20….

To

The Deputy Commissioner,

A B C City.

Sir,

As a dutiful citizen, I consider it my first duty to bring to your notice a very big social evil.

Obscenity in film posters has become the order of the day. People seem to have lost all sense of decency. Dirty and cheap film posters stare at the people from every wall and corner of this city. These dirty posters are displayed prominently near schools and colleges. These posters have a very harmful effect on young and tender minds. Ladies also feel badly embarrassed when they come across such vulgar posters where woman’s body is exposed shamelessly.

Kindly take personal interest in the matter and ban all display of such cheap and indecent posters.

Thanking you,

Yours faithfully,

XYZ.
