Subject - Polluted rivers causing problems.
Gomti River is the only river which flows through Lucknow. It is our only natural water source which is recently been all over the news due to its pollution.
A large number of plastics and other items are always seen floating on the river. The river is also very muddy.
The river is commonly used for washing clothes and bathing. Neglecting it's cleaning will affect the health of people. It is also a part of the aesthetic beauty of our city.
Therefore, it's my kind request to please look into the matter and take prompt action over the issue.
