Dear Sir,
I would like to bring to your attention the nuisance the street vendors have created on the PITAMPURA road footpath. It has become near impossible to navigate the stretch on foot. They have occupied the major length of the road to sell their wares. Earlier it was only during festival times but now it has become a daily affair.
This is being done under the supervision of the local mafia who exhort large sum under the pretext of protection. The only solution to this grave problem is strict supervision by the police. Also these poor vendors must be given an alternate space to sell their wares. I think the barren land beyond the Town Hall is appropriate as it is nearer to the residential areas.
The street vendors should be removed as they are posing danger for pedestrians who have to otherwise walk on the busy road.
