Dear Editor: I love our city. It?s great we've got a lovely shopping mall, and lots of parks where we play safely. We?ve got good roads and we've even got our own airport. However one thing I dislike very much is all litter and rubbish everywhere in the city. It makes it look dirty. Last week, the main chuk of my area looked awful. It was full of empty plastic & glass bottles. The market place is horrible and smelly. The street has not been cleaned for weeks. All this litter and rubbish makes our town look very ugly. Our dirty city is not very nice also for visitors. If the city isn't cleaned up, visitors will stop coming. Also, rubbish in unpleasant and unhygienic for the people who live in the city. Rubbish and litter cause germs and disease. If it is not cleared up each day it will make people ill. Litter is a danger to motorists, too .It cause accidents. Yesterday, I feel over and cut myself on some broken glass in the main market of my area. It is the job of the local council to keep our city and areas. Is there a problem? Why aren't they doing their job? There is a lot of room for improvement! On behalf of the resident of the area, I request the cancers authorities to look into the matter and solved it as early as possible.
