Write a letter to the editor about drug abuse among the youth
Answers
Sir:
I am writing this letter to your good self to express my
deep concern and anguish over the menace of drugs in schools and colleges. This
problem is getting out of control in the cities, towns, and villages near the
border areas. The neighboring countries are always conspiring to destabilize India;
so they target Indian youth. Free drugs are being provided to the students in
colleges and schools.
Drugs destroy the life of those who fall prey to its
addiction. Once they fall in the trap of addiction, it is very difficult to
return to normal life. These unfortunate drug addicts’ life is bound for
perdition. Drugs affect their health adversely. They become vulnerable to any
health complications such as damage to the liver and pancreas, ulcers,
diabetes and heart problems, lung damage, ulcers, kidney failure, etc.
Through the medium of your newspaper I appeal to the
Government and the other concerned authorities to look into the matter and take
very strict actions against this menace. The parents must also be very vigilant
about their children’s suspicious activities. I hope you will give my views
enough space in your newspaper. Thanking you.
Yours truly,
