Subject: Inconvenience due to political meetings on roads

Dear Sir:

I am writing to your good self to express my deep concern over the Inconvenience due to political meetings on roads during elections. These selfish politicians become active only during elections. They make tempting promises to people to lure votes. What will these politicians actually do can be judged from the fact that they don’t hesitate causing trouble to people with these political meetings?

I personally feel these road blocks should not be there. Political meetings can be arranged at open spaces. Through the columns of your daily, I appeal to the Government and Election Commission to look into the matter and do something in this regard. I hope you will give my views enough space in your daily.

Thanking you.

Yours truly,

Upen Sriastva

Sir,

Due to upcoming elections, the campaigns and party meetings have increased, and this has led to roadblocks in many places of the city. This has been a great deal of inconvenience for office goers, school children and college goers. We are forced to take longer routes to reach our workplaces.
