Subject: The Nuisance of Loudspeakers during Examination Days

 Sir:

I write this letter to express my anguish and annoyance over the problem of loud speakers during the examination days. I am a student studying in +2 standard in a reputed school in the city. The final examinations are just round the corner. I am preparing very hard day and night. During the day the loud noise from speakers does not disturb and distract as much as it does at night. Especially at the weekends the nose from the loudspeakers is just unbearable. During the last weekend I could not study at all. As a result my stress and anxiety just hit the roof. In spite of the law prohibiting loud music playing beyond 11 o’ clock, people just violate the rules and regulations.

There are thousands of students like me who have to suffer on account of this problem. I on behalf of all the students of the city plead and appeal to concerned authorities to look into the matter and ensure proper peace after 11 p.m. so that we can study. I am hopeful you will give enough space to my views in your newspaper. Thanking you.

Thanking you,

Yours truly,

Gitansh

Dear Sir,

                                 Sub: Nuisance of Loudspeaker.

I’m a resident of Nuisance Street and as the name suggests, nuisance mongers of this street always creates havoc to my ears and to my nerves by the songs and speakers blaring through the loudspeaker.

We are around five hundred families residing here and all are affected by this loudspeaker.  My aunt is a heart patient and she gets brutally woken up from her sleep by the noise which comes from these loudspeakers. There are more people like her who are suffering.   We had pleaded with the people who use this instrument and it has all fallen in their deaf-ear.

We had lodged a police complaint and that has landed in their dustbin.  I, on behalf of my Street, request you to publish our pathetic condition in your newspaper so that it is read and heard by those in authority and necessary action is taken.

 Thanking you,

 Your’s sincerely,
