Through the column of your esteemed newspaper I would like to express my views on the plights of river.

We all are well familiar with the current status of rivers in our country. Due to the drainage of pollutants in river these are turning to drains.

The wastes of industries, households etx are being drained into rivers.

One of the purest river Ganga is now tge most polluted one.

Government is taking steps but that also is not being in a proper way.

I hope you would give an appropriate column to my letter in your newspaper.

Through the columns of your esteemed daily ( name the newspaper).,i would like to draw the attention of the authorities towards the polluted river (name).the river name which is the main ,source of water supply to (city/area name)is in a pathetic state .this river ,which enjoyed a reversed status in your culture.hertiage has now become a dumping ground .morever ,many settlement have come up near the bank's of this river and the people wash their clothes in it ,thereby polluting it further

the river (name)is also being used to disposal of the carcasses of the animal and it's surface is dotted with rotting plants ,and other industries wastes .it is the water of the same river,which after being treated ,is supplied to the people living in therefore ,action should be immediately initated by authorities and people to prevent further deterioration of the water of the (rivers name)which is ur lifeline
