[ Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I draw the reader's attention to the bad condition of bad conditions of roads ]

The condition of the roads at Old Delhi is so deplorable with so many pits on it that it is always a danger to the traffic. But the buses, taxies, cars, auto-rickshaws are running at a high speed causing terror to the passers-by. The pits and bad conditions of road along with the reckless driving is the main cause of maximum road accidents in the city. Often, it is found that the vehicles passes without a serious accident. The death toll is increasing day by day.

I feel that the authorities should take necessary steps to repair the roads and stop the reckless driving which causes the formation of pits and also many road accidents.
