Sir
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw the attention of the general public towards the need to develop the spirit of Unity.

In India national integration helps in improving socio cultural relations. It also reduces economic inequalities. It alone can be the foundation of a strong united and prosperous India. It strengthens unity and solidarity. It is said that” United we stand divided we fall.”

Regionalism, communalism ,religious fanaticism, lingualism and terrorism are the forces that challenges national integration.

Adequate measures should be taken to remove the social and economic inequalities to ensure Unity among various sections of the society. Social issues such as dowry system, child labour ,caste system etc should be eradicated from our society.

We can attain internal freedom by making our minds free of selfish ego. People should not be committed to a particular region but to the nation as a whole.
