Do you enjoy school and look forward to it? Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t. I find school to be very enjoyable, however, when bullies get involved that’s a different story.
In our society, I think that bullying is a major issue. In this day and age, so many children, teens and young adults find themselves with a cellphone, an iPod touch, a tablet or computer in their hands.
All of this technology caused bullying to go from a minor issue of teasing to a terrible case of cyberbullying in a matter of years. Back in the 1960s, cyberbullying was not really much of a concern as there were no cellphones or tablets that could give people the power to even text or email someone something mean. Now, 78% of all teenagers own a cellphone, which makes cyberbullying a major issue.
Also, bullying is a problem in school too. As a seventh grader, almost daily I hear someone putting others down or laughing at someone because they could not do something as well as them. However, due to my experiences, bullying is not nice, and you will only earn a title of ‘mean.’
Many tweens and teens find themselves in situations where they are pressured to say something mean to another person. However, only a few say, “No, that is not nice. I would never say that!” and walk away. Many people just join in thinking
