Subject: Increase in number of suicide cases among students
Sir:
I am writing this letter to your good self to express my deep concern over the alarming issue of increase in suicide cases among students. According to WHO statistics approximately 135000 people in India die due to suicide every year. And a majority of people among them are students.
Students are the future of a nation. If the future starts committing suicide, the future is definitely going to be dismal. Increasing stress, social media, modern life-style, estrangement from families, lack of counselling, etc. are some of the causes behind this.
The Government should look into it and introduce preventive measures. Counselling should be made available at schools, colleges, and other easily accessible places. I hope you will give my views enough space in your esteemed daily. Thanking you.

In this modern era, developments in technology and society can be clearly seen.
However, these developments are causing the number of suicidal cases to sky-rocket.
Lack of communication, intense psychological pressure and stress are compelling the mass to end their lives and to quit.
Women, girls, and teenagers are mainly subjected to the evils of society.
So, I would like to heartily put forth the condition of the society where modernity and civilization are gradually becoming a curse for the lives of people.
