Dear Sir
I am writing to express my concern regarding the excess amount spent on political campaigns. Nowadays a lot of money is spent on grabbing votes by politicians. They waste huge amount on arranging pemphlates, speakers for announcements, etc. Moreover, they provide drugs to a poor community or some money to get the vote by there side.
Contrary to this they can spend the same amount on doing good for society. They can help in the development of there locality. By this, they will get the votes automatically and they will not need to ask for the votes.
Please provide the space to my letter in one of the columns in your newspaper. I will be very much thankful to you.
Yours faithfully

Subject: Extra expenditures done by the political parties in the process of campaign
Sir:
I am writing this letter to express my deep concern over the reckless expenditure by the political parties during the election campaigns. The most worrying and objectionable thing is this money is the national money of the taxpayers, diverted to election campaigns through illegal havala activities.
Some unscrupulous political parties use this money of the taxpayers to lure votes by using money. Recently huge amounts of such money was recovered by IT department from people belonging to a particular party in Madhya Pardesh.
Through the medium of your esteemed daily I appeal to the people and the Government to curb this misuse of national resources by political parties. And the same resources should be used to uplift the poor and backward people. Kindly give my views some space in your daily.
Yours truly,
Som Parkash
