Dear Sir,

I would like to draw the kind attention of the concerned authorities through the column of your esteemed newspaper towards the problem of poor condition of water supply in my colony.

Most of the time the taps of my area remain dry. The supply is made only two hours in the morning and one hour in the evening. Besides this,  the water is muddy and polluted. Many residents fall sick due to this.  There are often complaints of jaundice and loose motions after drinking this water. we have complained to the local  authorities several times but in vain.

I, therefore, request you to highlight this matter in your esteemed daily so that the concerned authorities look into this matter and take necessary action immediately.
