Sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw the kind attention of the concerned authorities towards the alleged recklessness of our locality people during this lockdown. The second wave of this Pandemic 'Covid-19' has struck our country disastrously and we all know, this mutation is highly fatal and infectious at the same time. Record number of cases and deaths are recorded every day and the situation is that our healthcare system is about to collapse.
Despite such a serious situation the entire nation is facing, the people of our colony are still taking it lightly which is posing a threat to everyone residing nearby. This is not only spreading the fear of getting themselves infected but also to the others who are strictly following the lockdown. There is a rush of people throughout the day. This caused the Covid guidelines to be wired. Many people are seen without masks. Policemen also do not appear to follow the Covid guidelines. People keep coming and going throughout the day according to their choice.
I request the concerned authorities to take strict and necessary actions against such heedless behavior of people to prevent others from being at risk and save their lives.
