Subject: Frequent load shedding in Mayur Vihar locality.

Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed national newspaper, I would like to express my concern on the crisis of frequent load shedding in Durga Bihar Colony.

In spite of lodging several complaints with the power department, nothing has been done and the locality of Mayur Vihar continue to face frequent load shedding. Due to this the people are facing much hardship. Both parents and their children are upset with the frequent power because it disturbs their daily study hours.

Long and frequent power cut increased criminal activities. It must also be noted that it is the common and the poor people who suffer the most during load shedding because they cannot afford to buy generators.

I therefore request the Municipal Corporation, New Delhi and the authorities to look into the matter immediately and restore uninterrupted supply of power.
